Hunters

Hunters in WoW are great marksmen who can bring their opponents down from a distance using a bow or a rifle. They are skilled survivors and can track down other characters and they can even set up traps for their foes. Hunters generally consider their weapons and their pets as their best friends and companions and have a deep connection with the beasts of Azeroth, they have the ability to tame almost any beast. The hunters have a light to medium armor; they can wield dual weapons and fight alongside their pets making them perfect to make gold even when they solo.

The hunters in World of Warcraft game have a unique ability of being both melee and ranged attackers. They are primarily ranged attackers, but they also have melee abilities, this melee abilities are still not close to the attacks of a rogue, death knight or warrior.
The hunters use mana to heal their pets and for special shots but their heir mana pools are still small when compared to death knights or spell casters such as druids.

The hunters have special abilities which can be upgraded via talent points such as taming animals and setting traps. These special abilities have helped them survive in Azeroth. The hunters can prevent an enemy from fleeing which is useful in PvP. They have long range capabilities, arrows or bullets instead of the magic attacks of the mage which help them hunt down and attack their enemies in PvM, this ability is however quite useless in PvP as this type is generally close combat.

The hunters have a variety of weapons at their disposal, weapons such as axes, daggers and guns can be used from the beginning without training. Other weapons such as crossbow, swords, pole arms, axes all require training, although the training is not required for some races.
The hunters have a varied range of abilities, most of them being ranged in nature which is ideal to farm gold or to assist in leveling. A sting is an interesting ability which is specialized buffs that can be used based on the timing and necessity. The sting has various types such as scorpion sting, viper sting and serpent sting. These stings are very useful in PvP mode in WoW, because of their ability to change the possible outcome of the game.

Hunters also make extensive usage of their shots. The shots are like special attacks that a hunter can equip himself with which makes the hunter deadly in World of Warcraft. The shots, if used in the correct combination, can be very useful in any scenario. This choice must be made according to the cool down time and the character you are attacking.
Combat pets are by far the most important tools of any good hunter. The pet can be of defensive and offensive help to a hunter. The hunter can tame a wide variety of animals in order to assist in combat and these pets if trained in a correct manner can compensate for the weaknesses of the hunter.

The hunter in WoW has many useful abilities but they also have some weaknesses. They have a “dead zone” in which they cannot use melee or ranged attacks. They can be easily defeated in melee combat. They do not have the power of healing themselves or their party members. They have a limited amount of melee attacks, which may be their biggest disadvantage.
In conclusion the hunter is a character for people who like to finish their opponents from a distance rather than from close by, and for players who enjoy having and training a pet.
